美國總統大選將於當地時間11月8日舉行，由於美國50個州含華盛頓特區的投票站，在當日早上7點開放到晚上8點。總共橫跨六個時區，也因此各州的投票時間也不太相同，主要分成以下時間點：































美國時間台灣時間投票站狀況
11月8日00:0111月8日13:01第一個開票的區域。最早開票的新罕布什爾州的迪克斯維爾(Dixville)，每次都是全國焦點。
11月8日06:0011月8日19:00美國東海岸各州投票站陸續開放，多數州選舉開始。
11月8日19:0011月9日08:00多數投票站關閉，據投票後的民意調查，此時將有第一次選情預測。
11月8日23:0011月9日12:00投票最後結果確定，此時美國各家媒體將會開始稱呼希拉蕊或川普為「總統」。

這個世界最受矚目的大選，民主黨參選人希拉蕊(Hillary Clinton)及共和黨參選人(Donald Trump)將舉行最後一戰，此戰也是美國第58屆的總統選舉，同天也將改選眾議院435個席位及參議院33個席位的國會代表。屆時大選不僅會選出未來新的總統，也會產生第115屆新國會。
